What would happen if a short-bodied, short-tempered furball with retractable claws well-known for his attitude and abilities as a highly effective killing machine happen to have a son? Daken is what have happened.
See the figure on the left? That's Logan/James Howlett aka Wolverine, the one I've just gave the descriptions of. Figure on the right is Daken, his son from a Japanese mother, whom Wolverine believed died in infancy. Like father like son, Daken is one tough dude. He has everything his father has. Healing factor? Check. Retractable claws? Check (although the second claw spring up from his wrist instead of knuckles like his father). Strength and reflects of superhuman quality? Uh huh.
Recently, Daken even also take the role as Wolverine in Norman Osborn's Dark Avengers. Unlike his father though, in some occasions Daken is portrayed to have a darker personality and more shady intentions. He'll be a nice substitute for Logan's long lasting arch enemy Sabretooth.
