How To Lose Weight Fast: A Personal Experience

Do you want to share?

Do you like this story?

If you are the one who often spend sometimes on the internet searching keywords for “weight loss”, “rapid weight loss” and “how to lose weight” than almost certainly, you are the kind of person who randomly eat something that looks good, smells good and tastes good. If you’re able to stop the habit (the eating, not the browsing), maybe you aren’t that far away from overweight salvation.

A lot of people whining about their size, about the excess fat around their tummy, thighs and any place too vulgar to be mentioned here, yet they’re doing nothing about it. They know that their weight issues may have been triggered their low self-confidence, their inability to squat down to reach the bottom drawers and devastated their sexual life, yet there’s nothing they do to change it. They still consume unhealthy, fat-laden foods, and their fancy treadmill are dusted and cobwebbed, completely forgotten, and they keep whining about how much their weight are.

No offense, but if that sounds like you, instead of whining, you can start eating the right food. Try to put “rapid weight loss foods” into your online search for a start. You might want to narrow the results a little bit, see which one of the results contain the best suggestion that fit into the category of rapid weight loss foods.
From my own experience, I compile the rapid weight loss foods in the following.

1.    Coffee. I’m not talking about the fancy, Italian-esque, Seattle-based, decafs all New Yorkers seem to worship. I’m talking about the strong, potent home brew (instant coffee is OK).  If you fear of what caffeine will do to your body, bear in mind that it’s nothing compared to what obesity will. Right amount of coffee will supply your body with enough energy while at the same time keep your gastric juice at the low-level. You won’t easily starved nor feel lethargic. Drink a cup of coffee whenever you’re hungry. You’ll see that it’s effective to hold back your craving for food at the meal time. Give a week’s worth experiment before you decrease/increase the dose.

2.    Noodles. I don’t believe the no-carb, low-carb method. There’s a reason why Asian seldom have obesity and it is because they eat a lot of carbs, particulary in form of noodles. Use noodles as your substitute of your usual pasta-vaganza.

3.    Rice. Cooked in Asian-style, not paella/jambalaya style. Use rice instead of bread and potato. It can be easily served with meat, fish or anything that you like.

4.    Soy bean products. Balance your meat consumption with tofu or “tempe”. Meanwhile, although taste and smell really bad, soy milk is a better anti-obesity than your regular dairy milk.

5.    Any kind of seafoods.

6.    Well-balanced weekly menu consists of meats, eggs, veggies, fruit and milk. These have nothing to do with the weight loss program. They’re more for your habit’s sake.

Next are the activities that would help you to lose weight rapidly. Note: these are from my own experience. The results may vary for each individuals. Nevertheless, they’re worth to mention here.

a.    Stay up late. Your body burns more calories if you go to bed past 12 am. The less you sleep the more calories flushed out. Note: Need a lot of practice before your body well-adapt to the drowsiness in the following day. Therefore, it is not advisable for those operating heavy machinery or working in high-risk enviroment.  Nevertheless, if you want to give it a try, do so on the weekend or on the eve of off-days.
b.    Eat fast. The excess fat that locked into your system determined by the way you chew your food. The faster, the lesser. Do this especially when you are in your junk food craving mode.
c.    Limit your TV time. People tend to eat and drink more in front of TV. Pawn your TV set for the best result.
d.    Blogging. This related to point a. above. The combination of squeezing your brains out to write something worth reading and stay up late will burn calories twice as fast.
e.    Physical exercise. Forget the gym. Do this at home. The point is to get enough sweats by mean of physical activities. The gym class/sport-type routine (like swimming), though burn more calories is also make your body starve more.
f.    Stay happy.

Final words, please keep in mind that the suggestions above are based on my personal experience. It may or may not work for you. Always consult to the expert. Don’t just do what anyone suggested to you online in your desperate attempts to reduce your weight. Almost 99% of them are just trying to sell their products to you. Healthy life is a balance state of what you eat, physical exercise and a happy heart.
